If you enjoy having a a drink occasionally, leave your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your handbag, your money belt, and keep all money, credit cards and cheques at home. Take only the money you expect to use on alcohol, tips and few dollars you anticipate to lose and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Just realistic. You can have a win after a boozy evening out with your friends and be blessed enough to hit a marathon roll at a on fire craps game. Hang on to that account seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you continually drink and bet. These activities just don’t mix.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel is a bit dramatic, but defensive measures for drastic behavior is essential. If you wager to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and gamble. If you like to blow your $$$$ without a worry, then drink all the gratis booze you can handle, but do not pack charge cards and cheques to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your drunk as a skunk head loses everything!
Let me to carry this a single step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then go on the net to gamble in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my condominium, but since I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards near by, I can’t drink and wager.
How come? Even though I do not consume alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is definitely sufficient to blur my common sense. I bet, so I do not consume alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, do not gamble when you do. Both create a decimating, and costly, drink.
